Yorkshire Terriers – or “Yorkies” – are naturally even-tempered, active, and intelligent dogs, full of energy and gusto. Because each breed has its own specific requirements, ROYAL CANIN®'s Breed Health Nutrition range caters to the dietary needs of dogs of different breeds to support optimal health.
Suitable for Yorkshire Terriers over 10 months old, ROYAL CANIN® Yorkshire Terrier Adult is specially formulated with all the nutritional needs of your adult dog in mind. The Yorkshire Terrier's prominent coat is regarded as its most well-known feature. It is exceptionally fine and long—and never stops growing. Since this attractive coat does not moult, it requires special nutrients to remain soft and silky.
ROYAL CANIN® Yorkshire Terrier Adult helps maintain coat health with an enriched composition of essential omega-3 fatty acids (EPA & DHA), omega-6 fatty acids, borage oil, and biotin. Because Yorkshire Terriers can be picky eaters, this formula is highly palatable and combines exceptional flavours to satisfy even the fussiest appetites.
Known for their long lifespan, Yorkies can live beyond 15 years, which means they’re more susceptible to the effects of ageing. ROYAL CANIN® Yorkshire Terrier Adult includes nutrients that support optimal health in mature dogs.
Dental hygiene is also supported through the inclusion of calcium chelators in the kibble, which help reduce tartar build-up. For variety, this formula is also available as wet food in a soft and tasty loaf. If feeding a mix of wet and dry, simply follow the feeding guide to ensure your dog receives the right balance of both.
