Dogs have a considerably larger frequency range and can hear the tones of a high-frequency whistle just as well as a normal dog whistle.
The pitch of a high-frequency whistle can be individually adjusted. To set the desired tone for your dog, the end of the whistle
(1) can be adjusted. Once the desired tone has been reached, secure it with the adjustment screw
(2). The higher tones are for close by and the lower tones for further away.
The pitch is fixed with the nut under the adjustment screw.
