ROYAL CANIN® Kitten is specially formulated to support the nutritional needs of young cats in the ‘consolidation phase’ of their development. This formula is suitable for young cats from 4 to 12 months old, as they are undergoing a period of significant physical and behavioural changes. This tailored diet contains tailored levels of protein, minerals and vitamins to meet your cat’s increasing energy levels and support bone and muscle development. It also contains nutrients such as vitamin C and E to support the development of a healthy immune system in your young cat. These nutritional antioxidants have been shown to stimulate higher and faster antibody responses after vaccination. ROYAL CANIN® Kitten is also enriched with Omega-3 fatty acids (DHA) to support brain development and promote healthy vision. Thanks to a combination of beneficial probiotics (MOS) and highly digestible proteins, ROYAL CANIN® Kitten also helps support a healthy balance of intestinal microflora (gut flora) for good digestion. ROYAL CANIN® Kitten kibble is also specially designed for your young cat's small mouth. A mechanical brushing effect helps support dental health as your young cat chews its food. When your young cat reaches 12 months old, they will need a diet that is specifically tailored to meet their nutritional needs as an adult cat. At this stage, you can help her transition to the ROYAL CANIN® range of adult cat food, available as dry or wet food in sauce, jelly or pate texture.
