PRODUCT DETAILS:
VetIQ Urinary Care Paste contains DL-methionine which acidifies the urinary tract pH and can be used as a complementary treatment to reduce the risk of struvite stone formation. It is easy to use and extremely palatable thanks to the natural cranberry extract it contains and contributes to the overall strengthening of the urinary tract.
It is indicated for cats suffering from urinary syndrome and for dogs predisposed to the formation of kidney stones.

DOSAGE / INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
For dissolving struvite stone:
For cats up to 2.5kg, administer ½ teaspoon 2 times daily
For cats 2.5kg and over, administer 1 teaspoon 2 times a day.
For dogs up to 10kg, give 2 teaspoons 2 times a day.
For dogs 10kg and over, administer 3 teaspoons 2 times a day
For prevention of recurrence of struvite stone:
For cats up to 2.5kg, administer ½ teaspoon every 2 days
For cats 2.5kg and over, administer 1 teaspoon every 2 days.
For dogs up to 10kg, give 2 teaspoons every 2 days.
For dogs 10kg and over, give 3 teaspoons every 2 days
* 1 teaspoon corresponds to 5g.
Place the paste on the front paws or the nozzle of the tube where the animal can lick it off it or your finger. Do not administer on an empty stomach. Suitable for cats 3 months and over and dogs 2 months and over. Not for human consumption. Keep out of the reach of children. In case of overdose contact a veterinarian immediately.
Before use, a veterinarian's opinion is recommended The paste is unsuitable for cats suffering from calcium oxalate stones or from obstructive lower urinary tract diseases.
